Pi Network for UHF Colinear

A friend is working on a 450 MHz colinear antenna for which he was to design a PCB that will match about 250 Ohms.  I don't recall the reactance., if any.  He has (nearly) unlimited test gear at ASU in Tucson, but not the experience of this type of design.  Do any of you?  Or can you recommend something other than the ARRL Antenna Book?

Bill - I'm not sure I understand what your friend needs, but if he's just trying to design a lumped-element pi network he could try "PI-EL." As the name implies, it's a program for designing pi and pi-L networks.  I don't have it installed anymore, but from the Web description it looks like it allows you to specify input and output impedances, although it's not clear if they can be reactive.

Thanks John.  Yes, he's looking for fixed values mounted on and/or part of a PCB for this application.  I'll pass your suggestion on to him.
