CQ WW VHF comments
All-in-all it was a wretched weekend for rovering in S.E. Colorado.
But, there were several bright spots -- among them was working two
NM VHF Society ops:
John, AA5PR/R -- twice on 2M CW from each of DM88 and DM87
Arne, N7KA -- on 6M PH from DM88 -- good sig / short skip
Except for the first 60 minutes of the contest, propagation was crap.
Hot, hot, hot -- with elevated humidity.
If the memory of this last weekend wears off soon enough,
I may do it again.
