KK6MC/r in VHF Contest

James Duffey

I have just returned from a 7 week/7000 mile road trip, so the last thing I feel like doing is spending more time sitting in a car, but, what the heck?

I will set up the rover in the morning, so not sure if I will get to start on time or not. I should be able to if things go well.

On Saturday I will start off easy, going over to the Moriarty convergence DM64/DM65/DM74/DM75 .

1800Z DM64

2000Z DM74

2200Z DM75

0000Z DM65

This schedule is flexible and depending on activity I may stay longer or shorter at each stop. If 6M is open , it is likely I will stay longer.

On Sunday, if I still feel up to it, I will attempt to hit grids west of Albuquerque.

Here goes:

1400Z DM54xq leave 1430

1600Z DM64cx leave 1730

1830Z DM55xh leave 1900

2030Z DM56va leave 2100

2230Z DM66am leave 0000z

If I get back to DM65 before the contest ends, I will operate from near Abuquerque.

As this itinerary requires longer travel, it is likely that I will get off schedule here.

Due to the short time I have for setup, I will only have 6M, 2M, 222MHz, and 432MHz. SSB and CW.

I will be on APRS when I have coverage, look for KK6MC-6 on APRS.fi

You can also text (preferred) or call 505 228 5491.

This will be a low key contest for me. Listen for the weak ones. - Duffey KK6MC
