Re: 6M Spring Sprint - W9RM
Congrats Keith, good job.
Sounds like 6 meters SSB at 50.125 opening now.
I have had some direction indicator issues with my VHF/UHF antenna's rotator. Went from that to absolutely no rotation

Re: 6M Spring Sprint - W9RM
Nice job Keith. I picked up some new grids in the Dakotas and in Wisconsin. I worked only phone and cw (2). I monitored FT8 and there was lots of traffic. I decided to not be part of that problem.

6M Spring Sprint - W9RM
After watching DXMaps the last couple of days and through the day yesterday, it appeared we just might have a chance at some early season sporadic E. I was on the fence about the Sprint and didn't

Sorry to hear that Stan is a SK. I first met Stan years ago in 1977. HE worked for Motorola at the time. We were just forming the West Texas Repeater association at that time.
Be careful

Thanks Arne for writing this. I had started but just could not get the words to come out.
I had not known Stan as long as others here (20 years) but he was a true friend. He was a 6 meter lover.

I'm saddened to read of Stan's passing. I first met him in 1980 or so at Canon AFB. I was the Land Mobile Radio TRCO (Techinal Representative to the Contracting Officer) in the 20th Communications

Thanks to Ed, N5JEH, for alerting me that Stan, W5ZF, became a silent key on 22 January 2020. Calls to the known home phone result in a recording stating the phone has been temporarily disconnected.

Re: [VHF] Fwd: [NLRS] K2RIW SK
When I was a kid back in the 1970s I saw a picture of K2RIW similar to this one in the "World Above 50 MHz" section of QST. I was -- and still am -- in awe!

Re: Fw: [VHFcontesting] Still Tired Of Maintaining A 2 Meter Distance Between People & Tired Of Communicating on 2 Meters?: Try this week's Spring SPRINT Contest On The 70CM Band (446.0 MHz FM Simplex & 432.1 MHz USB/CW) On Wednesday Evening
I did work Ed, N5JEH easily, with his 50W, but besides a local, there was no other activity that I heard. I CQed on 432.100 toward ABQ, PHX, SLC and DEN until 0130z or so, then packed it up.
I didn't

Who's gonna be on from NMVHFS ??
I wasn't planning on playing but if there's activity down there, I will.
Nobody to work around here....
