Re: W3DHJ/R CQ WW VHF DM77-78-87-88
From the Elecraft list: From: Edward R Cole <kl7uw@...> To: Elecraft Reflector <elecraft@...> Subject: [Elecraft] OT: CQ VHF Contest this weekend Message-ID: <202007161626.06GGQFNx000829@...> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"; format=flowed Although not about Elecraft products: I thought there may be some 6m ops on the list looking to work Alaska (KL7). I will be on with 3-element yagi pointed to the West Coast of the US running 80w on 50.313 (900-Hz) FT8. I will be using "Contest Mode" which exchanges four-digit grid squares instead of signal report. <https://www.cqww-vhf.com/>https://www.cqww-vhf.com/ Normally run even (first) sequence to work West Coast that normally are on odd (second) sequence. But either sequence OK as I will adapt. Opening last Sunday netted several stations in Pac NW for me. But I have seen CO, NM, TX, and AL 73, Ed - KL7UW http://www.kl7uw.com Dubus-NA Business mail: dubususa@... ARRL New Mexico Section Manager ARRL - The national association for Amateur Radio™ Duke City Hamfest BoD Vice-Chairman www.dukecityhamfest.org 17-19 Sep 2021 Secretary and Past President, Albuquerque DX Association W6H NM Coordinator, Route 66 On-the-Air 12-20 Sep 2020
The current prediction is for 102 degrees on Saturday.
